Description

A Utah collaboration with Kiitos Brewing, this barley wine bottled in April of 2020 and aged is a rare treat. It pours deep amber with a light fruity malty aroma. Caramel and tofee dominate the flavor with notes of dark fruit, treacle, molasses and date. A hint of sherry adds a touch of distinction and a nod to the extra aging. Despite all of that, it is not heavy, overly sweet or cloying. Like a lot of Unita’s bigger beers this is elegantly understated.
